Still doing art
Lately, I've been doing a lot of traditional media practice to hopefully improve my art in general (traditional and digital) so even though I haven't been uploading any new art, I'm practicing on a daily basis. My goal right now is to at least draw, paint or at least touch the pencil at least an hour per day. I noticed that my art has improved drastically on when I started last month or two.

Intuos5 +PS workflow
I thought I'd share a few of the configuration that I have defined for the Intuos5 to establish a better workflow in Photoshop. I don't mind doing the basic keystrokes on the keyboard but since Intuos5 has configurable buttons and pen, it's nice to take advantage of these features.
First is flipping the canvas horizontally. I did some research and I see some people assigning an action to create this process, but I think this only over complicate things. By default, there's no built-in hot keys for this one but if you use this a lot, assigning a hot key manually to it can be handy. Having to go to image>image rotation/flip canvas is a little

I've had my deviantArt account for many years but used it mainly to look at great art works which consists of mainly digital paintings. I guess my first journal entry is how I got started and what I've learned so far. I appreciate everyone who posted feedback and gave me some pointers on how to go about improving my own art. Since I'm fairly new to digital paintings and self taught artist, it's nice to get some ideas from people who has been doing it longer than I do. Work space, brushes, inspiration, tools, anything that they use to make their art.
